UA LOCAL 502

This new 2-story 135,000 square foot facility for the UA Local 502 Plumbers, Pipefitters & HVAC Techs is a much-needed expanded education and training center for the growing number of apprentices and union members. The facility includes 23 classrooms/labs, 2 computer labs, a large orientation room, 10 dedicated training shops and specialized labs for each trade with mezzanines above, a full-service kitchen and break area and a rainwater harvesting system.

The front 6,000 square feet of the building houses offices, a conference room, café and 2-story lobby with an overlook and large spans of curtainwall glass and modern materials. Horizontal metal panels, a modular metal panel screen wall, louvered sunshades, awnings and sloped forms provide interest and elegance to the building sitting at a prominent intersection of Hurstbourne Parkway and Fegenbush Ln.
