Steven R. Dietrich, A.A.S.
After graduating from High School in Dallas, Texas in 1987, Steve joined the Carpenter’s Union and entered into a four-year apprenticeship. He learned the carpentry trade through night classes and on the job training.  Upon completion of his apprenticeship, he became a Journeyman Carpenter. Focusing on commercial construction, Steve soon moved into the role of supervisor and went on to run projects in several parts of the country. In 1994, he moved to Louisville, Kentucky and went to work for Drywall Acoustics Inc. as a Field Supervisor. There he ran commercial metal stud framing and drywall crews. In 1999, Steve was hired by U.S. Specialties as a Lead Installer and later became a Project Manager dealing in division ten specialty products and services.

In 2003, Steve decided that after fifteen years of interpreting plans in the field, he would try his hand at a position on the other side of the drafting table. He went back to school, and in 2005, earned an associate’s degree from ITT Technical Institute in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design, graduating with highest honors at the top of his class.

Shortly before graduating from ITT, Steve secured a position at Bayus-Evola Architects, where he currently applies his rich construction background into the design and development of construction documents. He is now the Account Manager for Marco’s Pizza, developing construction documents for franchise and corporate restaurants around the country.
